YNTM episode 1: May The Best Gurl Win

From 30 to 20

We started the premiere of YNTM with 32 girls arriving from all over the country doing just about anything to become the 'Yey's Next Top Model'.

"I look to my left and right and I'm like OMG all of them are pretty", said Mimi.

Then, all of them arrived in a model casting studio, suddenly two people came out . It was Ms. Wan and Mr. Karl, the art director and the runway coach of this season of YNTM.

They were told to put on a stiletto and walk on the runway.

"I never walk in stiletto", laughed Jacinta.

"You better do", said Mr. Karl.

Then Jonn Atan suddenly appeared from the back and surprised the girls and tell them that the casting starts now.

Jane told the judges that she's a comic but in the same time she loves to wear black like a Goth chick.

Julianne show the judges some traditional dance.

Tatang show the judges her tattoo and piercings which was inspired by her past life.

Lorrainne a medic student thinks that model need to be smart.

Patsy said that she just broke up with her boyfriend

Melissa wants to represent plus-sized model in the competition.

Jacinta said that she grind coffee to survive.

Mimi was praised by the judges and were asked to scream to calm her nerve down.

Lora said that she's a nature lover. She's involved in a foundation that saves tree.

Marcela tells everyone that she was send to the competition by God.

Then, the casting ends. We were shown a scene where the girls talk about their feelings. The girls said that Mimi can go far in the competition but she needs confidence boosts. Tatang shows her softer side and was comforted by the girls when she cry.

Then, Ms Wan and Mr Carl told the girl that only 20 of them will advanced to the next level while 12 others will have to leave.

Then the 20 lucky girls were given a new task where they have to wear a togo for their photoshoot.

Combi decided not to wear it but Ms. Wan insist her to do the photoshoot regardless of what she wants to wear. She end up crying in frustration.

Sheilla was concerned on her body too much she forgot to work her face but in the end got a great photo.

Then Atan, Ms Wan and Mr Carl judged the 20 girls' photo to decide who will be in the YNTM house.

Combi was worried that her photoshoot will ruined her chance.

Finally, Atan appeared and announced the 13 girls that will be in the next round. They are;

The 7 other girls who didn't make it were advised to try again and not to give up.
