YNTM Episode 3: Just Dance

Previously on YNTM: The girls were interviewed by the press, Marcela, Annesya and Sheilla cause a scene at the PC. Then, the girls shoot in a nature inspired photoshoot. In the end, Marcela was eliminated for not making a good first impression with her personality and her photo. 12 girls remained who will be eliminated NOW !

Being in the bottom two was very frustrating for Annesya, she wants to stepped up her game plan by ...

...criticizing Melissa's body.

Melissa was very upset with Annesya who was clearly bringing her down so she can take over the competition.

"You can talk all you want about me, but I am here to represent myself and Atan choose me and there's nothing you can do about it", said Melissa.

Then, the next morning the girls were given a surprise visit by their runway coach...

 MR CARL !!!!

"Okay girls today you will be meeting someone special, it's Ms Amal and she is the agent for Yey Modelling Agency, the company where you'll be working at if any one of you win the competition".

Ms Amal basically wants to see the potential of the girls by judging not only their face and walk but also their personality which clearly most of them got except for Jacinta who remain unmentionable from the first episode till now...

Here's the rundown of their model potential courtesy of Ms Amal and Mr Carl

• Sheilla - Great look but need to be more presentable
• Annesya - Too Soccer Mom-ish
• Mimi - Beautiful face but need to work on her walk
• Melissa - Confident at first but when asked to do a little dance (Melissa is a dancer) she couldn't deliver.
• Patsy - Talk too fast
• Marly - A little bit shy
• Lora - Great walk but doesn't have the inner bombshell
• Jane - Great sense of humour 
• Tatang - Severed look but can speak well
• Julianne - Need to relax, can be stiff sometimes
• Sabatini - Need to fix her walk
• Jacinta - Who? (Need more charisma)

 At the end, Mr Carl revealed that someone will go home right after that. The girl that will go home is chosen because the agency doesn't see any potential in her during the interview

"Hopefully it won't be me," said Marly.
  
Before that, the girl were told that the interview is challenge/elimination. So the challenge winner who will win something is Mimi

Then it was revealed that the girl that will go home is...

"I was given a chance and unfortunately they didn't see model in me, I wish i have done a lot better," Jacinta tells us in her exit interview.

The remaining 11 girls who were still shock, were given another surprise which was...

ATAN MAIL !!!! (postman not included)

Jane read the mail which said,"Shake it for your root".

"Milkshake shoot!," one of the girl suggests. We'll never know what Atan is up to this time.

The next day the girl were brought to Cultural Village where they met Ms Wan, their photographer and a dance instructor.

"What you're going to do today girls?" exclaimed the always pretty Ms Wan whose face still remain a mystery.

"Dancing!!!!," they screamed.

The girs will take photo with a dancer, they have to dance as well as model for the Cultural Village brochure ad. Before that they have to do dance 101 with the coach.

Melissa who was also a dancer decided to not really get serious with the move because she thinks she's good already.

Tatang was struggling and clearly traditional dance is not her cup of tea. She ended spraining her ankle.

Julianne was having fun with the routine, as a model you have to be versatile she claimed.

Then the photoshoot started where they have to shoot with another dancer, which is a challenge cause sometimes these guys can outshine them... To Ms Wan surprise most of the girl do well except for Tatang due to her injury.

The judging began, Ms Amal was the guest judge...

The judges were very impressed with the girls work because most of them do very well except for some little flaw who can be neglected.

Mimi was praised for her eye contact while Julianne for her passion in her photo.

But it was Marly, Melissa and Tatang's photo who were voted the worst (tho it's still their best work so far)

Elimination

 

 

Julianne was called out first for, "I can see the passion in your eyes, face and body" claimed Ms Amal.

Bottom Two

Marly didn't give a 100% in her photo

While Melissa give a better picture, but she was sabotaging herself by not listening to instruction

Eliminated

 

Marly was given her photo and Melissa was send home. The judges thought that being a good model is to listen to what people taught.

" I can't believe I was eliminated beacuse of what I do best [dancing], clearly my photo is the best compare to the other girls but I'm not gonna stop," Melissa in her exit interview.
